A beautiful, new and two feet wider trail is in the works. Some motivation to actually utilize the tow path? Exercise is much more palatable without mud puddles, kind of more, well...a little bit more.

The Matthias Harvye House is a 300+ year old private residential enclave. To retain the historic intrigue that only generations of living past can provide, we've created this blog as a way to open the property without infringement on our privacy. The main home and outbuildings date to 1709. To put time into perspective, the Battle of Trenton where General Washington led his troops across the icy Delaware River took place on December 26, 1776. The solidity of these stone structures have withstood two centuries of progress. We ushered in a third century in 2009.
