Okay...they are from Ikea...we rubbed yogurt and other muck on them to "age"...Will the idea work? Time will undoubtedly tell.

The main home and outbuildings date to 1709. To put time into perspective, the Battle of Trenton where General Washington led his troops across the icy Delaware River took place on December 26, 1776. The solidity of these stone structures have withstood two centuries of progress. We ushered in a third century in 2009.

I used this yogurt and horse manure blend to age terra cotta, didn't work for me. Did yours?
ReplyDeletePerhaps, it has been three years and they have a nice patina. Was it the horse manure and yogurt? Your guess is as good as mine, check out recent photo.
